In an exciting new development, the LEEA has introduced online learning for Members.
This highly flexible way and convenient way of studying is particularly suitable for our overseas Members. All current distant learning courses can be accessed in this way. Please click on the link to view the courses.
You can access your study materials online and also complete your assignments online. Completed assignments are marked by the course tutor and then returned to you. Access to the online service is available through the members area of the LEEA website.
Learn at your own pace, as each module is completed the next is made available to you.
These courses are available all year round.
*Please note* Students who have not been onto the training portal within the first 2 years of enrolment will be automatically cancelled off the course!

Recent changes to UK VAT regulations mean that students outside the EU studying online do not have to pay VAT

Students should also have access to the LEEA Code of Practice for the Safe Use of Lifting Equipment.
Members can buy this at the discounted price of £90, including P&P to the UK (overseas postage or courier service extra).

How to access your online course material
If your employer has registered you for an online training course, you have been sent an email from LEEA giving a user name and password to access your training material and a link to access the training portal. Access is also available through the members area of the website.
Direct Access
Click on the link in the email sent to you and save the site address as a favourite, access the training site using the student instruction manual available via the website, this can be accessed by clicking on the email link.
Via the members area of the website
On the members page click on the "Log in to LEEA Training" button on the right hand side of the screen, this will open a new window.
Click on "Student" and enter your training login and password to access your training course. Use the Student Instruction Manual as a guide until you are familiar with the site.
