If you would like to find out more about the lifting equipment industry, the below publications are good sources of information from a whole range of different viewpoints around the the industry.

Many of the publications also contain press releases and articles contributed by the LEEA, helping to expand the philosophy of best-practice and high standards that we all strive for.

Hoist is the only international factory crane magazine, covering bridge cranes, jib cranes, chain hoists, wire rope hoists, blocks, end-of-line attachments, components and the installation, maintenance, training, consultancy and trade associations surrounding this equipment.

Since 2001, Derrick Bailes, technical consultant (and former chief executive) of the Lifting Equipment Engineers Association (LEEA), has written a column for the publication, advising the industry on the best ways to choose, inspect, use and maintain hoists, cranes and rigging equipment.

Hoist has had a strong relationship with the LEEA since it was launched out of sister title Cranes Today in 1998. Will North is the current editor.
