William Hackett Chains are a leading supplier of lifting and material handling equipment . Established in 1892, with well over 100 years of trading behind us,

We have seen many changes within the industry and we take pride in our ability to adapt and diversify. We manufacture and distribute from two locations, Alnwick, Northumberland, and Cradley, West Midlands.

 Our Alnwick facility is a purpose built 20,000 sq ft building, from here  we distribute our lifting and material handling range. William Hackett Chains are the sole UK distributor of YOKE components and ancillary products.

We are also the UK distributor of  TIGER chain blocks, lever hoists, and other material handling products. We will be exhibiting the new TIGERSHARK subsea lever hoist at Liftex 2009.  

Cradley is our manufacturing location, we manufacture pump chains, stainless steel and galvanised,, swing chains, and lower grade chain assemblies. We also hold a large stock of grade 30 and 40 chain.
