Nautilus Rigging

Nautilus Hooks are a new design of safety lifting hooks which are much safer and easier to use than traditional “latch lock” hooks. International patents are pending for the design and operation of the hooks which are setting a new standard for safety in lifting operations.

Tested in the demanding North Sea offshore industry earlier this year the prototype hooks achieved exceptional results with 89% of users confirming that this new style of hook is safer and will eliminate the common pinch and trap injuries that are associated with traditional lifting hooks.

Managing Director and designer of Nautilus Hooks, Mr Bill Toon said “Our invention offers a simple solution which eliminates a common hazard in the workplace, the safety benefits are easily recognisable and have attracted the attention of the North Sea Marine Safety Forum here in Aberdeen who have invited us to give a presentation to their full member meeting in November, We expect our product to become the new standard  as the “next generation” in safety lifting hooks”
