LEEA AGM & Dinner Dance 2010

**The AGM & Dinner Dance are for member organisation staff & guests only**

Ricoh Arena, Coventry, Friday 19th November 2010

The LEEA 2010 Annual General Meeting will be held from 3pm until 5pm in the Jaguar Suite within Ricoh Arena, Coventry, directly after the LiftEx 2010 event which closes to visitors at 2pm on Friday 19th November. As is customary, the AGM will be followed at approximately 7pm by the LEEA Annual Dinner Dance, which this year is also being held within the impressive settings of the Ricoh Arena, in the Sky Creations Lounge.

Ricoh Arena, home of Coventry City Football Club is an exciting and modern venue, perfectly situated in one of the most central locations in the UK; over 75% of the UK's population live within a 2 hour drive of the arena, and public transport and flight connections are extremely accessible. The Arena is not only the perfect backdrop for the launch of a new and improved image for LiftEx 2010, but also boasts several beautifully appointed boardrooms and stylish spaces ideally suited for our AGM and Dinner Dance.

LEEA Annual General Meeting

The agenda for the AGM will be published on the LEEA website and will be downloadable in PDF format.  Formal notice of the meeting will also be sent by post ahead of the event.  Your attendance at the AGM is encouraged as this is the decision making body for the Association and plays a key role in plans for the future.

Annual Dinner Dance

The evening dinner dance will begin at 7pm, with the usual reception. The welcome drinks will be followed by a delighful four course meal in the Sky Lounge, exclusively for the private use of guests of the LEEA. There is be a vegetarian option provided for each course, and we will do our best to accommodate any other important dietary requirements such as nut allergies. Please ensure you make us aware of any special needs at the time of booking. We cannot guarantee to provide for any particular dietary needs if we are not given sufficient notice for Ricoh Arena's chefs to prepare your meal accordingly.

(Please be aware that seasonal changes in product availability may impact the menu slightly. If you have booked for the Dinner Dance and the menu changes for any reason, you will be informad as soon as possible)

As is traditional, the meal is then followed by a selection of fantastic entertainment for the evening, beginning with the hilarious Drew Cameron, comedy chameleon. Drew's unique combination of stand up comedy, observational humour and amazing impressions are guaranteed to start the entertainment on a high note, after which our chosen band, the fantastic Rockanrollers, will play the night away with a selection of well known classics,  modern hits and many more songs to bring you to your feet and dance the night away!

Accommodation

A number of rooms are on short-term reserve until June 11th at the on-site Ricoh Arena 71 Rooms & Suites Hotel. For guests who are first exhibiting at LiftEx 2010 on the 18th & 19th of November, rooms are available for the duration of your stay from Wednesday the 17th (LiftEx set-up day) until Saturday 20th November after the dinner dance. If you are only attending on the 19th for the AGM and gala dinner, you can also reserva a room for just one night.  

To book acommodation at the Ricoh Arena Hotel you will need to contact them directly using the details below. We cannot make reservations for you or take payment for these rooms. This must be done directly with the hotel reception itself. Remember to quote 'LEEA' or 'LiftEx' when booking so that you are allocated one of the reserved rooms.

Pitch View rooms are available for £89+VAT per night, and serviced apartments for £109+VAT.

PLEASE NOTE that after June 11th rooms may still be available, however we cannot guarantee availability after this date as there are other events taking place at the venue around this time, and we can only hold a block of rooms for a very short period of time.
